My thoughts on ending Temporary Protected Status for Afghans:

The One-Two punch of shuttering the Afghan P1/P2 refugee categories AND removing TPS for Afghan Allies in the U.S. (vetted and still waiting after 3.5 years for SIV COM approval) is a travesty. Add insult to injury.

I know hundreds if not thousands of "Mohammad". All of them with stories much like this. Here now and uncertainty of what the future holds for them. Even more stuck abroad in other countries. Unable to call any place home. Then of course there is my Ahmad.... who is still stuck

A must read. It should never be this dangerous or this hard for the U.S. to stand behind our Afghan allies. This young man is just one example of hundreds of thousands of Afghan Allies we have let down in the past, and continue to fail daily.
