I am starting the hobby year with some warm-up exercises with #WarhammerChallenge Some of 40k, some of Necromunda, Age of Sigmar and to really challenge myself I want to learn how to paint bottles. #WarhammerChallengeCompetition

I got some time to take proper pictures of my 15mm models I painted a couple of months back. Remember, that they are tiny…

Some Kill Team was being played and my Eldar pirates proved to be way less mobile, then assault Space Marines. Very annoying. But the game was fun.

The new Kill Team rulebook is beautiful and clearly edited. I have not played the new edition yet but it looks promising.
PS: I have not abandoned the 40k universe! I am super excited for the new edition of Kill Team and I ordered the new cards and extra models for my Corsairs.

Another 2 15mm units painted. Heavy and Cossack-style cavalry of Poland-Lithuania. Now just one unit left to have a complete army. But what a unit it is!

I painted exactly 60 horses over the weekend for my 15mm army. It is about half of what I plan for the entire thing. If you want to play as Poland-Lithuania, you really need to love painting horses. Pictures once the riders are painted as well.
Another week, another 15mm XVIIc unit. This time it’s Wallachian light cavalry. As they came out so Christmassy green-red, I made them a bespoke St. Nicholas banner. Good quality pictures coming once I do bases.

This week I’m working on another 15mm XVIIc unit: dragoons. I had to learn how to differentiate bay vs. chestnut manes…

The new White Dwarf 503 confirms the Squat lore from the recent Kill Team expansion. Squats indeed had problems with Tyranids but now they hunt the Bane as game. I love how they incorporated old Squat rumours and turned the tables.

Having fun with some 15mm historical game for a change. WiP

I just CANNOT get this out of my head. Help me before I commit
I was lucky today to visit the perfect medieval castle, built for the emperor himself: Castel del Monte. Not much left inside, but the view towards Bari and the Adriatic is breathtaking!

Follow up on the animatronic Great Unclean One. I managed to get the first prize and the audience choice award for it at my local GW Store!

The Void Shield Generator comes back today in GW’s made to order event. It is a great piece and you can make it even better by changing its base proportions a bit: wargaminghobby.com/article/hackin…
My Arduino-powered Great Unclean One is currently on display at Warhammer Warsaw store. So if by some chance you are around and if you dare, you can push the big button and see what happens…

And my greatest invention is now complete! Animatronic Great Unclean One controlled by #Arduino, with three independent servos and an ultrasound sensor. It can be disconnected from the “server room” and played as a normal model. @warhammer @arduino

A new Grombrindal model is coming. The one closest to my heart is the 90s one, who served for many years as my standard bearer (after his axe was commandeered by the general). Also pictured is Joseph Bugman. @warhammer #WhiteDwarf
