WOOHOO! 2024 is wrapped, and put into a collage. While two papers are accepted (not in press), there's a lot of things in review, and much more cool TEAM science is coming. It's been an interesting year, with some shifted priorities.. but here's to a bright (and healthy) 2025!

This turned out super cool, radiata pine resin pocket and canals.. just a quick look and I see several thousand species here, definitely more complex than SRFA excited to dig a bit more into this data. Wasnt expecting this, but glad 7T-DESI has 1.1M RP at mz 250 #TeamMassSpec

Always nice to see a stable transient and sub-ppm errors during a run #TeamMassSpec

We are saddened to share news of Alan Marshall’s passing. He was ASMS President (2004–2006), co-inventor of FT-ICR MS, 1999 Distinguished Contribution Awardee, and an ASMS Fellow (2025). Our thoughts are with his family, friends, colleagues, and mentees. loom.ly/q0KZfqM

If you (or anyone you know) is interested in high-field NMR and FTICR, there is an active ad out for a postdoc for studying natural organic matter! Check it out below: @Chemjobber #chempostdoc #NMRchat #TeamMassSpec careers.pnnl.gov/jobs/10522?lan…
It's nice to see another workflow for LCM top-down proteomics and MALDI, it's something that we've been focusing on since before I came to PNNL, neat to see it applied to a new disease state. doi.org/10.1002/advs.2…
Happy to share this one, outlining our workflow developed through @_hubmap to look into proteoforms in human kidney. We found logical insight into FTU level proteoform differences in healthy samples. Moving forward, diseased tissues hold a lot of secrets! doi.org/10.1186/s12014…
RhizoMAP getting mildly out of control due to time points 😅

Electrical you didn't beat me today... could've been a sparky in a different life. The plumbing is the *shitty* part. Pun intended... toilet flange this week.

Cleaning the lab, found upgrade decals from 2016. Yes, I plopped them on the workhorse.

Wood is a really neat sample, quick little test before something a little bit bigger.
