Teaching “critical thinking” fails because truth discernment arises from collecting facts and recognizing their patterns. How are students supposed to think “critically” about information if they don’t know anything?
It wasn't just political correctness, there was a deliberate ideology education was supposed to teach "critical thinking" i.e. make students cognitively smarter, and learning (supposedly) "random" facts they could look up online was a distraction from that. Turned out to be wrong

I wrote the original story. This is not true. There is no rezoning in SB 549. A 40% low-income requirement applies only to property tax financing that the Resilient Rebuilding Authority CAN use. Please refer to my thread and July 14 story for details: x.com/kennethschrupp…
