#familyman passionate about the potential for the #future #letloverule. we can have ethical, high performing government Opinions are my own He/him.
I am obsessed with #greatgovernance It is possible and should be expected. Stop substantiating current spend on things that are no longer relevant. Reallocate to drive long term #wellbeing results for all. itslogical.ca
This govt needs to make better decisions period. To triple the debt without anything to show for it is a massive failure. No job creation. No major infrastructure. Pure ideology running this Province.
"Ten years ago, Alberta’s debt was $37 billion. It has since almost tripled to $101 billion. Automation eliminated over 25,000 oil and gas sector jobs between 2014 and 2021. Those job losses are projected to accelerate, wiping out about 30 percent ..." desmog.com/2025/07/23/oil…
As local govt we need to know what services cost to provide. However, just stopping there when we are budgeting is hitting an easy button. The budget process needs to dig deeper and determine how valued our services our to the community when we are pursuing their priorities.

When oil and gas companies are unable, or unwilling, to pay their land rent, the provincial government will pay it for them. More than 99% of the time, the government never gets its money back thenarwhal.ca/alberta-oil-an…
Hey @outdoormantra1 this is a classic example of grifting. Rebel news has a link up now too. Your Premier crowdfunded a lawsuit she was going to initiate too. Still has not accounted for about $100k.

Hey @grok who is the most famous person to view my profile? Just a name please.
Discipline need not be looked at negatively - like when we punish someone for doing something wrong. Discipline can also be a committed and consistent approach toward being the best we can be. For local govt that should mean constantly having critical looks at all we do.

Every one of these steps, done well, can lead to an increase in the trust our public has with us. We need to share this complete story with them in as transparent a manner as possible. Invite them to get curious about each and every one. itslogical.ca

Our public is getting weary of all the increases to their bottom line. While I feel local govt taxes are a bargain compared to some other things we pay for - it is incumbent upon us to search for ways to get more out of our current situation before raising taxes, fines, fees.

At a time when trust in govt is at all time lows - which method of budgeting do you feel is transparent and demonstrates an alignment to community priorities? If you want to learn more about program based budgeting reach out anytime. [email protected] itslogical.ca

I mean… If we’re doing things that might deserve apologies… Allegedly the premiers chief of staff tried to fire me from my role as a paramedic for the work I do with @TheBreakdownAB. An apology for that would be nice. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
Dare I say the perfect response. Well done.
The Municipality of Jasper, taking the high road here, in response to Alberta premier Danielle Smith blasting a new report into the wildfire, calling it “politically motivated” and “misguided.” I’ve also reached out to the companies that created the report…#ableg #cdnpoli
Your Premier. @outdoormantra1
“Danielle Smith says a policy introduced by Hungary’s ultranationalist leader Viktor Orbán is an “interesting” idea & thinks it would be worth taking a “closer look” to see if the policy could be effective” Policy advice from Orban now? #abpoli #cdnpoli pressprogress.ca/alberta-premie…
While I truly believe her to be incapable of doing so it would be nice to hear our Premier say “I can be better” or even “We can be better”. #abpoli
Every last UCP MLA is complicit. The clock is ticking for you to abandon this ship.
Facing more questions about her ethics & judgement today, Smith defended using her husband as an advisor on rail projects despite his having no experience in that field... Then justified it by citing American "First Spouse" practices, saying "politics it's a family affair".
“we hope all jurisdictions take a closer look at their own deficiencies rather than blame others.” This statement was brought to you by the province hosting the “Blame Others” Alberta Next panels. Got it. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
Statement on Jasper Wildfire Response and Recovery: Premier Danielle Smith, Minister Mike Ellis, Minister Todd Loewen, and Minister Jason Nixon. It is disheartening to see a report and the media response to that report that so clearly overlooks the substantial, coordinated…
She will never own up to mistakes. It is always the Feds fault. How Trumpian of her to feel the need to respond with such “weight”. #abpoli

Yes. You can, if it helps you, throw aside any ideological argument. Truth is it is happening, at an increasing pace, because of the economics of it. And burying your head in the sand about it helps no one. Unless of course you stand to benefit politically or with your own $$$$.
In one tweet, @SecretaryWright explains the worldview of @ABDanielleSmith, the AB oil industry. But the energy transition is an economic issue, not a moral one. Electric technologies are more efficient and lower cost. Ergo, they win...soon.
Strive for these to be in balance. When we are doing what we love, something that we are really good at and something that is valued greatly by others then everything seems to fall into place. Being flexible in one of these areas will lead to stress and strain. Find your Dharma.

Hmmm. Yet to listen to the UCP it was all guess who’s fault? The Feds. #abpoli
A report into a wildfire that devastated the Rocky Mountain resort town of Jasper says crews did their best but command and control was hampered by the Alberta government. edmonton.citynews.ca/2025/07/17/jas…
