Alderson Road from Picton Road, Wavertree, 1980 and 2025 This is to replace one I put up a few days ago - after someone pointed out that the old photo had been flipped horizontally. I hadn't even noticed, with the road being largely symettrical!

Did Kwik Save stop Granny Trolleys from being taken inside? My memory from the late 80s was the trolleys being lined up outside en masse
My Dad (ex Cunard) used to tell me about Tom Hall's (?) which was down there somewhere. Used to grab a quick beer when waiting for a 'Pier Head jump' as they called getting a job on the next ship out of the 'Pool.
