Took some time off from running after thinking I broke a couple of toes a few weeks ago. There’s still some pain, but it felt really good to be back out there today. Not the fastest or the smoothest run—but definitely the most appreciated one in a while.

Just finished From Fear to Faith by @gary_zimak. It’s not about pretending fear doesn’t exist—it’s about refusing to let it lead. With honesty, Scripture, and simple yet powerful steps, Zimak gently guides us toward peace through trust—not control. Do not be afraid to be saint.

Our Principal Panel, @CarlishaElam, @DanaLiberton, and @dwats1155 shares their insights, advice, and wisdom with our Emerging 1 @MLDSLeaders cohort. @DrJ_Anderson @StLouisRPDC @EducPlus

I just finished Let Go of Your Fear by @gary_zimak. This book is full of insight & encouragement. Every chapter offered meaningful reminders abt what it means to let go of worry and lean into trust—especially when life feels uncertain. @avemariapress

Finished 7 Steps to a Language-Rich, Interactive Classroom by @JohnSeidlitz and Bill Perryman. Practical. Powerful. Proven. Every teacher deserves access to these strategies that support engagement, language, and learning for all students—especially ELs. Thanks @Seidlitz_Ed!

My weekend at the White House. No politics. Just Peace. Please take a moment to read my latest article: open.substack.com/pub/patrickrke…
Just returned from the White House Retreat—three days of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal. If you're looking to step away and reconnect with God, consider joining me next year: July 9–12, 2026. It’s a powerful experience. Let me know if you're interested. @whretreat

Just finished my worst run of the summer. It was brutal out there—hot, slow, and a grind the whole way. But I showed up, and sometimes that’s the win. @fit_leaders

Just finished A Different Kind of Power by @jacindaardern — highly recommend. A powerful, honest reflection on leadership rooted in kindness, empathy and strength. Thank you @CrownPublishing for sharing this story.

Made it to the Pen Show today! Always interesting to see the range of styles, brands, and people who share a love for all things pens. Enjoyed this day from start to finish—and I’m already looking forward to next year.
