The current president of the United States accuses a previous president of sedition, and the response from the media world is largely a shrug, because it's just another Tuesday in terms of wild, baseless claims.
Trump: "This is like, proof. Irrefutable proof that Obama was seditious. That Obama was trying to lead a coup. And it was with Hillary Clinton, with all these other people. But Obama headed it up ... this is the biggest scandal in the history of our country."
And much of the issue on Canal Street is the placard corruption. It will be hard to calm traffic and find a place for all of those illegally parked placard cars, to go -- city doesn't want to deal with headache. Placard corruption is dangerous.

Buried in amendments to the Interior Dept. Gov funding bill, is a stipulation that the Kennedy Center Opera House must be renamed the 'First Lady Melania Trump Opera House' in order to receive federal funds. The Appropriations Committee adopted that amendment by a vote of 33-25.

No chance. But the President pushing a narrative that there was/is a conspiracy to rig elections against him… The endgame I actually fear is him using troops to do some nonsense around voting sites for the midterms next year, to “protect democracy”. That gets real bad quick.

Worth noting that, circa 2021-2024, when Trump discussed his first term, he RANTED about it... saying a villainous "Deep State" kept him from doing what he really wanted. Voters should've taken note of that.
In his first term, Trump was extremely harsh on border issues but largely shied away from stepped-up interior enforcement. Many voters probably expected more of the same from term two, but he turns out to have been serious about “mass deportation.”
