Carrots, eggs, dry beans, and tomatoes from the backyard today. I decided to pull the rest of the carrots since some were going to seed. Plus, I plan on cooking a roast in the next few days.

Barbecue ribs along with tomatoes, onions, purple sweet potatoes, and carrots from the garden.

Nice little haul of dry rattlesnake beans, tomatoes, and eggs today. I also cleaned the pea field. I need to start getting ready for the fall garden.

One thing I've been obsessed with lately is making homemade cereal/granola. The latest is sprouted oats, pecans, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, peanut butter, and a touch of maple syrup. Topped with some fresh berries and served with cream-top milk from a local dairy.

A nice haul of tomatoes over the last couple of days (plus about 3 gallons in the freezer). Almost ready to can some tomato sauce.

Nice harvest of the Cream 40 peas today. Though I did get drenched from the rain while picking the last row.

My oven is broken, so I haven't been able to bake bread. And I really wanted to make a fresh tomato sandwich from the garden. So I drove down to the local farmers market for some sourdough, whipped up some mayo, and made that sandwich.

Fun times in the garden this afternoon with the girlfriend. We ended up picking peas, carrots, tomatoes, dry beans, figs, pears, and peaches. Maybe some corn tomorrow.
