It was a pleasure to see Pat Hudson deliver the Aaron Graham Lecture @UCLHistory, supported by the @EcHistSoc, on how British investments in the Caribbean helped boost financial capacity in the British economy during the 18th century.
I haven't posted much recently, but I am extremely humbled and at the same time elated to see that my book has recently been shortlisted for the First Book prize of the Royal Historical Society alongside so many amazing titles. bit.ly/4kkm4lW
