I wouldn’t be a filmmaker w/ out David Lynch. Or, at the least, I’d be a much different one. The man gave an entire generation of awestruck hopefuls the courage to color outside the lines. His fearlessness is unmatched in American cinema. A profound loss for film,& for the world.
