A woman in her 80s dry heaves into a green vomit bag, saliva and bile dripping from her chin as four “healthcare” workers walk by, unconcerned. Twenty feet away, another old woman moans and rocks in a wheelchair. Her mask has slid up over her eyes. There’s not an empty seat as…
Leadership lesson of the day: Circles. Caring about the suffering of others is alway important. The trick is to start with those in your care - immediate family, extended family, then those who depend on you for their livelihoods - and work out in circles from there.
What makes Lottie Woad special is the same thing many of us saw in Lydia Ko. Good ball-striker, good putter, steady temperament, but that’s true of dozens. Lottie and Lydia are magicians with their wedges. Crisp, clean, and creative from every distance. That’s the difference.
Pay no attention to the snobby critics. Im crying. Best supporting actor: @PGA_JohnDaly Best cameos: @NellyKorda @JordanSpieth (Tangouray not Bombay), @jacknicklaus I went to opening night of Caddyshack 40 years ago. I laughed more at this. Much more. imdb.com/title/tt318681…
I've had this ad show up on my timeline a bunch lately. I assume it's because of the Mustang. Man, I love that car.
If you're wondering about this man today...
Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!
Had a sushi dinner next to Terry in Belleair, Florida a couple of years ago. He didn't look great then, but he couldn't have been nicer to everyone there. Sad times. mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-…
Mark Twain never went to college. Neither did Hemingway or Faulkner. Fitzgerald was thrown out of Princeton. But they lived outside, knew hunger up close, and found some wisdom in everyone they met. Alas, those now writing unreadable forwards to their works all have Ph.Ds.
Leadership lesson of the day: Transformation. My son got a new place. On moving expenses I said, “How about cable and internet?” He said “Cable! What am I, 60?” Of my 6 children, ages 37 to 24, 1 has traditional television. And he works for the provider. Be ready for change.
This is spectacular!
The Claret Jug has made its way to the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere 🎬
It’s Hemingway’s 126th birthday. No magic rubbed off when we visited his place, but, hey, I don’t drink or box, I love my wife, and I shave every morning…so there’s that.

Here is my review of @MarkKriegel's latest, and it's a doozy (the book, not my review). I can't recommend this one highly enough, whether or not you give two hoots about boxing. It's a masterpiece. goodreads.com/review/show/77…
When I was covering college football for Fox Sports, @samponder was part of the ESPN team with whom I shared a lot of weekends. She was unfailingly kind and a consummate professional. This entire conversation with @sagesteele is definitely worth your time. youtube.com/watch?v=54ZwCa…
Once again Meg MacClaren proves why she is women’s golf’s deepest thinker.
Can we all agree his press conference at the start of the week was never him saying that he didn’t care or that he doesn’t want success as much as anyone else out there?? Surely it was him saying exactly what that Nike ad says. You can be the most competitive person in the…
The Pope called Buzz Aldrin on his birthday. Can’t love this enough.
This evening, 56 years after the Apollo 11 moon landing, I spoke with the astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Together we shared the memory of a historic feat, a testimony to human ingenuity, and we reflected on the mystery and greatness of Creation.
5 days and another trophy later, the guy expounds on his pre-tournament comments and shows that he get life better than most.
This was a pretty great follow up from Scottie on his presser early in the week.
Golf lost one of the good ones. Big man, big voice. But most of all big heart. RIP Bob. talksport.com/golf/3297556/b…
For those new to professional golf who are wondering how to pronounce Chris Gøtterup: She wanted to sleep in, but he Gøtterup. You’re welcome. @TheOpen
Something extraordinary is happening, everywhere.
What an incredible evening at the Harvest Crusade! Over 45,000 people filled Angel Stadium. When the invitation to follow Christ was given, so many responded that the Fire Marshals had to close the field! More details to follow. Here's a powerful moment from the stands as we sang…
