Catch 365 Day 365 So…that happened today. The response I’ve gotten has been overwhelming. I’m still trying to read all the comments but I’ve had some time to compose my thoughts about today & this past year. Here goes…

After the M’s game ended last night, when I finally came back upstairs my wife asked “I heard the garage door, were you just out front talking with someone?” Yes. “It’s 10 o’clock, who were you talking to?” Cole. “Who is Cole?” #catcheveryday 1,242

The defining “I will never forget watching” moments of my early sports childhood were the ball getting by Buckner (86) & Hulk slamming The Giant (87). A little later Tyson getting KO’d would join that list (90).
One of the most iconic sports and cultural moments of all time. Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant belongs in the Hall of Fame.
Boy, it will be a shame when we don’t have to let Garver hit there…
Go M’s Now keep going…
BREAKING: The Seattle Mariners are acquiring first baseman Josh Naylor from the Arizona Diamondbacks, per @JeffPassan
Had a catch w/ @Coach_Piland who I’ve known since I was 12. We were Mt View Thunder football teammates. He’s a NAIA National Champion at PLU & a WA state HS fb champion coach. Impressive resume. Now he can add catch partner for day 1,240 Almost as impressive? 🤔 #catcheveryday

Sometimes…there’s nothing you can do, brother. Whatever you thought of Terry Bollea…Hulk Hogan was great. We all get the 3 count in the end. RIP Hulkster. Thanks for everything you did to help my childhood be great.

Go Cougs
Last night, Klay Thompson threw one of the hardest ceremonial first pitch I’ve ever seen. Legit no joke, an absolute bullet and on the money
Yes, the M’s should go get Geno. But the fact they will have to give up a top prospect & more to re acquire someone they got rid of in a salary dump is why this team isn’t ever going to go anywhere. Not a well run organization outside of bobble heads and fireworks nights.
Narrator: They kept playing him.
Dylan Moore is batting .043 in the last 30 games. Literally two hits in the last month of games he’s played. Mariners can’t keep playing him.

Dave heard me on a podcast about Field of Dreams, talking about catch. It made him think about his dad, Carey, who had passed away. He reached out. “I’d give anything for one more catch w/him. I can’t, but maybe I could with you?” I’d be honored. @oregoncharger #catcheveryday
