A good storyline is the heart of my G. He will wake up in the middle of the night, and if he has a good idea, he write it down. If he wakes up early for the day, he will journal his thoughts. My heart is so full seeing him watch a movie today and whispering to me what comes next

I am loving summer break… but I sure do miss the small things my students would do each day. Their greetings. Their smiles. Their ability to realize we always had high expectations—even on our difficult days. They make me a better person and I truly miss them for these reasons.

Summer goals for my boys… 1) Go outside and stay outside 2) Choose 2 books at grade level to read 3) Cut the yard and do laundry weekly 4) Hold the door for people when out 5) Order your own food and count your total before paying 6) Cook your own meals 7) Camp and explore
