really happy to share that 3DALL-E, a research idea I began at @ADSKResearch as an intern is now in Autodesk Fusion 360 as Project Salvador (thank you to @jozilla, @JustinMatejka for realizing it in the product). You can generate images to use as blueprints for 3D models!

When watching tutorial videos, I always wanted to just drag a part of the video, ask a question about it, and get an answer. In our upcoming #CHI2024 paper, we studied users' question asking behavior and designed a pipeline that generates answers to questions with visual anchors.

I'm a bit surprised that panels and lifetime awards at #CHI2024 don't get recorded. It's really sad because those are the types of talks you don't get to see anywhere else and there's so much knowledge to absorb from them!

John Walker - a founder of @autodesk and author of The Autodesk File - passed away this week. Without his leadership and vision there would be no Autodesk. All of us at the company are grateful for his contributions to @autodesk, and we send our condolences to his family.
