This does look like a properly entertaining league this year. Disappointed to lose Welling as those were always tasty games. With this plus Westfield getting going, and Bexhill looking stronger, there are hopefully good times locally ahead.

A minor detail that will get lost but I think this means that neither the League Cup nor the League Trophy will have a recorded final this year. I know leagues have tough jobs but getting their competitions played would seem to be their sole purpose?
Today's L&SERWFL Trophy final has been abandoned. The presence of Palestine flags among both sets of supporters was deemed unacceptable by the venue and the game was duly called off. Clapton CFC were 2-0 up at the time through goals from Emily Link and Egle Trezzi.
