**Professional New** TL,DR: My new art w/ @JakeTruscott_44 is out in first view @JLawAndCourts! A thru-line for a lot of my research has been simply "We can tell a lot more about someone's ideology by what they say rather than what they do." cambridge.org/core/journals/…
Senate GOP tactics to make 2017 tax cuts "permanent" required a nuclear move on Senate floor-- weakening authority of the parliamentarian, blowing hole in Byrd Rule, & possibly making future debt crisis more likely. New @goodauth post on fallout from the goodauthority.org/news/three-big…
Huge congratulations to Timothy Johnson, Paul Wahlbeck, and James Spriggs on winning the APSA Law & Courts Lasting Contribution Award for “The Influence of Oral Arguments on the US Supreme Court.” An incredible honor for a landmark piece in judicial politics! 👏⚖️
