The correct answer to any reasonable, "Can we build ___?" request is always, "Yes, and here are the tradeoffs." Don't say "no." Get them into a conversation about priorities and tradeoffs. Works every time.

Having an AI companion while writing code: generally pretty nice. Predictive auto-complete: horrible UX. Aside from the fact that it constantly hallucinates, it is so disruptive to my train of thought.
Canceling old tickets is the “deleting legacy code” of product management. Euphoric
