Wrapping up my day at @NASA - spoke with the smart leaders of our mission directorates. We agree- America MUST dominate space and our critical moon mission, #ARTEMIS, must be as known & supported by America just as Apollo was! It's a race to the moon. Clock is ticking. I'm fired…
Falcon 9 launches from Cape Canaveral today with two more SES O3b mPOWER satellites headed to medium-Earth orbit

Armstrong: “That’s one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind.” Neil Armstrong is on the Moon! #Apollo11
Watched my crewmate @Gillis_SarahE play the violin today at @MtWilsonObs..this is where Edwin Hubble discovered the universe was expanding and that our galaxy is just one of many. I’d say it was the second coolest venue I have seen her perform…right behind a Dragon in space🎶🎻
HARMONY OF RESILIENCE: Recorded in space and sent to Earth via @SpaceX’s @Starlink constellation, Polaris Dawn crewmember and violinist @Gillis_SarahE invites you to enjoy this music moment in support of @StJude & @ElSistemaUSA → polarisprogram.com/music

Congrats! Thanks to you and others in the industry for making such big bets on the future. As space fans, we all hope to see a flourishing orbital economy--one that requires lots of space stations!
56 years ago, we achieved one of the most consequential moments in human history. We have waited patiently...it is time for the next giant leap.
Happy Moon Landing Day! On this day in 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on the Moon. This photo shows both astronauts on the Moon, with Armstrong reflected in the visor of Aldrin's helmet.
We held our first @vast Industry Day event and cut the ribbon for our mission control room and new HQ building. Our campus now has everything we need to design, build, and operate Haven-1, as well as Haven-2, our proposed successor to the ISS. Now, back to building Haven-1.

.@rookisaacman says bureaucracy at NASA is holding back major discoveries: "NASA has yet to approve iPhones to go to the ISS! That's a petty example, but how do I know there isn't a ton of cancer-treating formulas that have been waiting 8 years to get approval?"
We agree that space nuclear systems need to be a national priority and America needs to continue to invest in rapid fission reactor development and fly a demonstration mission before 2030.
