I've decided stop working, don't know for how long or if I will return. My health has declined in the past year and I have lost motivation to continue. I will never sell the MBAR patents/IP, if I decide to give up I will destroy the prototype and delete all the CAD files.

From now on anyone who mentions fosscad to me will be instantly blocked. Not interested in explaining why or working with them. I still support open source, but I'm not interested in dealing with a bunch of felons.

Took me 3 hours last night to CAD and 3d print all of safarilands holster accessories.
Looks like I'm never buying anything from safariland ever again, and soon neither will you.
Well well well not even an hour later and I already have it replicated
Just realized all of Safariland's patents expired this year, so I'll be free to create 3d printable ALS holsters, QLS plates and publish the files.
Still need to do the angle sight, plan is to also build a ALS type holster for it that works with safariland QLS plates
Sometimes I wonder if my decision to build the MBAR was a mistake, the last year or so was probably the most miserable of my entire life. If it wasn't for the sunk cost fallacy I would have given up already.
I'm thinking about putting together a FAQ video due to the large amount of questions I got from Youtube and Reddit lately, are there any questions people want addressed? Attached are some MBAR diagrams I was planning to eventually publish for the user manual.

Working on a 3d printable stock for the ML37. Eventually I'd like to put in a ballistic calculator that changes the angle of the optic.

Just sold the rest of my gold collection to fund the MBAR development. I'm recording another video update now.
Ordered some custom springs, should require 30% less energy to fully compress the recoil spring while still giving the same shut force to force the bolt into battery.
Just got back from range, still didn't fully cycle. Came very close to ejecting, bolt catch locked the bolt back. Gonna try a custom recoil spring to get the spring constant down and the spring force more consistent.
