I was so focused on getting my article out that it wasn't until now that I soaked in the fact that I interviewed Paul George during his presser. It was a surreal experience and it makes me more motivated to get a #Sixers credential. Grateful for this opportunity and you all 🙏🏼

Daryl Morey tends to prioritize keeping an open roster spot for a rainy day. But, with the uncertainty at power forward, using a veteran minimum on someone like Trey Lyles wouldn't be a bad idea. #Sixers
With Council off the books, the #Sixers will shed $2.3 million. They're roughly $2m below the luxury tax threshold — not including Grimes' cap hold. Interested to see if Philadelphia will preserve an open roster slot once Grimes is re-signed or if it will target another forward.
Everything you need to know about the #Sixers waiving Ricky Council IV in 120 seconds👇
It's disappointing how Shake Milton couldn't find a stable home as a backup point guard. Feels like him playing on three different teams in one season really hurt his stock
If there is another signing to be made, I believe the #Sixers would do it after Grimes is retained. They'd likely want to see how deep they are in the first tax apron before adding another veteran minimum.

An updated look at the #Sixers payroll after Ricky Council IV was waived

The writing has been on the wall for Ricky Council IV His three-point percentage went from 37.5% as a rookie to 25.8% last year and he shot just 38.2% from the field What is most frustrating to me is in the madness of last year in which he should have thrived he struggled
Unfortunately, the writing was on the wall for Ricky Council IV. With the emergence of Justin Edwards and an underwhelming sophomore campaign, waiving him made too much sense for the #Sixers

Great movie by the way — 8.5/10 If you read the OG Lee/Kirby F4 run you'll appreciate the movie so much more. Loved all the characters. The sequences with Silver Surfer were elite. Truly felt like you were zapped in a comic. Had an authentic feel the MCU hasn't had in a while.
I'm seeing Fantastic Four tomorrow afternoon. Please just get this done before or after, that's all I ask...
