When my father upgraded us from a 386 DX 40 to a Pentium 60 in ~1994, _this_ is the kind of speed-up I imagined we'd get when starting Windows 3.11. The reality was much more disappointing. (What you see is DOSBox set to cycles=max on my laptop.)
All of yesterday and part of today to write a Bazel rule that trims the classpath to cut the runtime of tests by a few seconds. Tried Cursor's help but it just messed things up at every step. I guess this must be quite novel! (And yes, I sent a BazelCon talk proposal 😎)
