Corporately and individually, Israel will look with eyes of faith on the Lord Jesus Christ and confess the words Isaiah prophesied long ago, "He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities" (Isa 53:5)." — John MacArthur, 𝘡𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘩 (MOTC)

Your children were born for such a time as this. In God's perfect wisdom and sovereignty, every little one is born at the exact moment suited for His glory and His children's good (cf. Romans 8:28).
What will heaven be like? In a sermon from February 1976, 36-year-old John MacArthur excitedly imagined what it would be like to finally join the saints of old in the presence of Christ. Now, he joyfully experiences that reality!
This is an AWESOME BOOK! I listened to JMac narrate it while mowing my 8.1 acres. I have also recommended it to many parents in our church. It was & is so necessary for John to have written this Book for the body of Christ & for the curious unregenerate person (Rom 1:16). SDG!🔥

"But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive." — 1 Corinthians 15:20–22
I’m starting a new book today: “The War On Children: Providing Refuge for Your Children in a Hostile World,” by John MacArthur (2024).
There is nothing anywhere at any time that shall be able "to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Rom 8:39). Our salvation was secured by God's decree from eternity past and will be held secure by Christ's love through all future time.
"No, God is not going to stop loving us. He is not going to turn against us. He is not going to all of a sudden condemn us or reject us. He already offered His Son for all of our sins." — John MacArthur on Romans 8:31–39
Two encouraging truths: Christ’s bodily resurrection has guaranteed the resurrection of all who believe in Him (1 Corinthians 15:20), and even as we await this reality, our Savior is now in heaven praying for us at the right hand of the Father (Hebrews 7:25).

"All Scripture is God-breathed and spiritually profitable for the salvation and sanctification of every believer. Every word of God is pure truth, living and life-giving, powerful and empowering." — John MacArthur
“What is heaven? It is the place where Christ is and where He receives a believer to Himself. It is where we will all be related to Him in a perfect relationship. Personally receiving each believer. This is an incredible promise!” — John MacArthur
Christ conquered death for us! The hope believers have through the gospel of Jesus Christ hinges on the resurrection. Because Christ died and rose again, the hope of eternal life is guaranteed. Death is no longer master over us, but Christ has overcome it in overwhelming victory.
"All death can do to the believer is deliver him to Jesus." — John MacArthur

“The longer I knew John MacArthur, the more I loved him.” John Piper pays tribute to a longtime friend, partner, and preacher he never stopped admiring. desiringgod.org/articles/oh-ho…

Our hearts are heavy, yet rejoicing, as we share the news that our beloved pastor and teacher John MacArthur has entered into the presence of the Savior. This evening, his faith became sight. He faithfully endured until his race was run. 2 Timothy 4:1-8
