MCAO prosecutor Treena Kay says if Lori Daybell objects to the State’s response to her request for new trial to be under seal, then the court should make it public - which would reveal personal medical history.
This was the objection to the state’s response filed last week by Daybell. She says MCSO official illegally obtained her medical records but did not have the results on her urinary tract infection bc tests were sent outside MCSO/CHS. She believes incomplete record was presented.

For anyone wondering about Lori Daybell's request for a new trial. The State had filed a response but wanted the documents sealed. Not surprising as prosecution asked for Daybell's health records previously. No ruling has been issued yet. Sentencing is on 7/25.
