I wonder if my work is getting any attention, and then I see this:
I first reviewed a book MS for a publisher in 1986. Cornell UP offered me $300 in Cornell books or $150 in cash for my work. Today I got the same offer from another publisher! 38 years of inflation should have made it at least $430 in cash. But I accepted, to be a good citizen...
