What a game, Gilding I didn’t know much about before the Matchplay, but boy did he give it a good shot. Pushed Littler to the max, played immense vs Heta & brushed aside Dirk. Great checkouts too.

So here’s my attempt at predicting this years league two table. Big fan of Paul Cooks work at Chesterfield and think they’ll pip big spending MK & Fleetwood to the top 3, while cowleys fall just short. Stanley & Cheltenham to go down. Rovers an improved but modest 11th.

Loved how smooth, calm and collected Gilding has been this tournament. His approach to the oche, his throw, his character, just nothing seems to get on his nerves, hence why he’s played superb so far. So relaxed and laid back, everyone should stride to be Andrew Gilding
