DASD CN, Hon. Michael Buemi visited @jiatfs to meet with the new Director, Rear Admiral Jeff Randall. They discussed current challenges in the counter narcotics mission and explored opportunities for the future.
Mission Success! This coalition of partners consisting of USCGC Hamilton, embarked TACLET, & HITRON crews operating as part of @jiatfs all had a critical role in bringing this interdiction all together. This kind of synergy is what makes maritime security operations so effective.
Last week, the crew of USCGC Hamilton made a significant impact by interdicting two narcotics vessels, seizing 4,000kg of illicit drugs! The next day, they partnered with HITRON and TACLET South for another successful operation, confiscating 1,975kg more. Bravo Zulu!

HMCS William Hall and the embarked @USCG Law Enforcement Detachment seized 245 kg of cocaine in the Caribbean Sea on 8 June. The ship has contributed to the seizure of more than 1545 kg of cocaine during the past two weeks during #OperationCARIBBE.
Commodore SOTO Herrera, Chile, Dir. of Ops of the General Staff of the Navy & staff made a visit to @jiatfs. They received a mission brief, a tour of facility & held different meetings. This was a collaborative effort to discuss ops priorities, emerging maritime & air threats.

🚨Major Win for the U.S. Coast Guard!🚨 On May 3, 2025, the crew of Cutter Thetis intercepted two vessels in the Eastern Pacific, detaining 9 suspected smugglers and seizing 2,100 kgs of cocaine worth $52.5M. They later recovered another 4,532 kgs! Kudos to our brave Coast Guard!
