The horn blew, ending the segment of Ravens practice just as Jaire Alexander and Mark Andrews were about to have a one-on-one rep. Both Alexander and Andrews made their displeasure known. It’s only been two days, but Alexander is fitting in just fine. nytimes.com/athletic/65145…
Ravens are enjoying the Jaire Alexander experience, and the feeling is mutual. That and observations from Day 2 of Ravens training camp, which featured a nifty Lamar Jackson deep ball to Rashod Bateman but defensive dominance otherwise. nytimes.com/athletic/65145…
Humphrey said that if you come at 6:01, you are not allowed in the weight room. He also said that Harbaugh is already in there "getting swole."
The Ravens have re-established the Breakfast Club, a small group of players that gets together at 6 am for a workout. This was a tradition started by former Ravens safety Eric Weddle. Marlon Humphrey, Jaire Alexander, Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman have been part of it.

“When I first got here, I think teams feared our defense. We want to get back to that. I don’t think the Bengals fear our defense. I don’t think the Steelers fear our defense,” Marlon Humphrey said.
Marlon Humphrey on teaming with Jaire Alexander: “It’s been exciting but what I like most is his swag for the game. He’s a perfect fit for us.” Alexander said he thought he was weird but Humphrey has him beat in that category.

Asked if he circled the Week17 matchup with the Packers on his calendar, Alexander said, “No, I circle every week.”
Alexander said he feels great physically. “I’m going to bring the energy and the juice. Everything else will fall into place.”
Jaire Alexander on his first impression of Baltimore: “I’m in love.” Says he knows he’s in right place. Alexander said he has nothing but love and appreciation for Green Bay, but he’s embracing new opportunity.

Van Noy said that before Travis Jones’ ankle injury last year, Jones was playing as dominant football as Dexter Lawrence if you watch the film from early last season.
Van Noy: “On paper, we’ve got some guys, but it doesn’t mean shit if we don’t play together.” Van Noy said the Ravens have to right past wrongs.
Kyle Van Noy: “I’m just trying to still get better. This will be my third season here and I’m comfortable. We’ve got to get off to a hot start this year and keep that momentum. It starts now.”

John Hoyland took the kicking reps today and he was 9-for-9 with a long of 43.
Harbaugh said that Hopkins will be OK. Fell on his knee yesterday and was held out of practice “out of an abundance of caution.”
Other practice standouts: Jalyn Armour-Davis had a couple of PBUs. Anthony Miller made some plays. Roquan Smith stayed with Justice Hill and broke up a pass 35 yards downfield.
Devontez Walker beat Jaire Alexander on a deep route in one on ones. The two matched up again and Alexander had the pass breakup. Neither Andrews nor Alexander appeared pleased that the one on one session ended just as they were about to match up. They wanted a go at it.
Ravens first-round rookie Malaki Starks is having a nice day. Broke up a pass to Charlie Kolar and then he picked off a Lamar Jackson overthrow.
A few plays earlier, Jackson hit Rashod Bateman for a deep shot. Jackson dropped the ball in between Hamilton and Wiggins.
First two INTs of camp: Trenton Simpson picked off a Lamar Jackson pass that hit off Isaiah Likely’s hands. Jackson ripped off his helmet in anger. And UDFA Reuben Lowery, who is around the ball a lot, stepped in front of Anthony Miller and intercepted a Devin Leary throw.
WR DeAndre Hopkins isn’t on practice field. Otherwise, only other absences are Emery Jones (shoulder), Ar’Darius Washington (Achilles) and Jake Hummel (hand).
