NEWS: Kansas coach Bill Self was hospitalized Thursday after experiencing “some concerning symptoms,” the school said. He underwent a procedure to have two stents inserted and is expected to make a full recovery.

USC freshman Alijah Arenas suffered a knee injury and will miss 6-8 months after surgery, per the school. First reported by @ChrisBHaynes. Arenas was a five-star recruit and just made his practice debut earlier this month after an April car accident that left him hospitalized.

NEWS: Virginia's Thijs de Ridder has been cleared for immediate eligibility by the NCAA, sources say. The 22-year-old power forward posted 9.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, shooting 39% for 3 in Spain's ACB this season. Should be an instant impact player for Ryan Odom.
