Only Bitcoin in cold storage counts toward your stacking goal. BTC held on an exchange is an IOU for bitcoin, not bitcoin. IBIT/FBTC shares are an IOU for fiat, not bitcoin. MSTR/MTPLF are NOT bitcoin. If you own 10 BTC worth of these but none in cold storage, you are at 0.
