After a brilliant year and a half, this is my last week as a Local Democracy Reporter. I am so grateful for the experience and the friendships I’ve made with colleagues in Wiltshire. Looking ahead, I'm excited to join the ITV West Country team as a Production Journalist in April.
On BBC Wiltshire bulletins this weekend with the reaction to Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset & BCP Councils being left out of the Devolution Priority Programme. Frustration from council leader Richard Clewer but the government says the Heart of Wessex is “not ready” to be included.

Enjoyed a day in Cardiff at BBC Cymru this week with other LDRs from the South West, hearing from @Jeniharvey on building relationships with council comms teams and getting an LDRS update from @Jgibbins👍
