Bizarre how the British believer is normal for 31% of voters to potentially have the right to enforce their minority opinions upon the other 69%

I have a dryer but I don’t really use if for half the year as I can dry my clothes for free using the power of Earth’s sun. I don’t regard that as some sort of old frontier hardship.
Hot take: Europe is a bunch of third-world countries with better branding. No A/C. No dryers. Ice is a luxury. You’ll sweat through dinner while the waiter ignores you for 2 hours. Say what you want about America, but at least eating out doesn’t feel like hot yoga with bread.
We have seen nations knowingly commit acts of evil before. The Confederacy, Nazi Germany, Pol Pot’s regime. We’re seeing it again, and I don’t even have to name the country. You all know who I’m taking about.

The hard left say there is millions to be collected from vacant site taxes. So how about we use the property tax increase to hire private debt collectors to collect the untapped bounty? Dublin City Council agrees to raise local property tax via @RTENews rte.ie/news/dublin/20…
It often feels like these lads will do absolutely anything to avoid having to put themselves on a ballot paper before actual voters. Watch: Calls for a Commissioner for Future Generations via @RTENews rte.ie/news/2025/0716…
It is intriguing watching the people who rode the Epstein conspiracy into public office now looking on horrified as the people they whipped up into a frenzy to get elected are now turning on them.
There’s a bang of Ulster Workers Council off this, where a bunch of self appointees have to be tiptoed around with regard to the operation of public services to the majority. Major incident declared over loyalist bonfire in Belfast via @RTENews rte.ie/news/ulster/20…

I don’t think that people on the left constantly retweeting this as criticism realise what they are doing.
Another deportation flight left Dublin last night and landed safely this morning in Lagos, Nigeria. There were 35 people on board who had received but had not complied with Deportation Orders.
Once again proof that the Irish are only in favour of more housing as a theory as opposed to specific geographical actual practice.
PLANS REFUSED ⛔ An Bord Pleanála have refused an application for an 823 unit Strategic #Housing Development in 6 buildings ranging in height up to 35 storeys in Cork. Details here: app.buildinginfo.com/p-NWVhbQ==- #buildinginfo #housing #housingmarket #jobs #building #constructionnews
There is one particular Irish politician whose ability to speak out of both sides of their mouth at the same time has made it unnecessary for me to actually identify them and yet for anyone reading this tweet to know whom it is I am talking about. Or am I incorrect?
The biggest lie told by all political parties in Ireland is that a policy that delivers on the level of affordable housing we actually need in the places where we need will be very popular with the majority of voters. No it won’t. It will be incredibly unpopular.
This proposal doesn't really pass scrutiny. 13 year olds pay VAT in shops. Should they be allowed vote? Or just people who pay income tax (which is a very right wing position).
Last week the Social Democrats put forward a bill to lower the voting age to 16. @Ben_Scallan asks if they believe 16-year-olds who commit serious crimes are responsible enough to be tried as adults.
I am not that surprised that senior figures in Sinn Fein would be vehemently opposed to British spies and informers in the organization being violently punished. I’m not surprised at all.
