What a wonderful morning ! Meeting Queen Camilla was extraordinary and being part of the #coronationlibraries was a real honour. Shirehampton Primary now has the 1st of these libraries - it’s cosy and filled with so many books as well as an actual librarian. Hurrah!!

What a week for literacy 🤯 2026 is the National Year of Reading 📚 and the government committed to a library in every primary school by the end of this parliament. Huge thanks to the brilliant children’s authors helping us to inspire more young readers!

Celebrating in style at the wonderful news from Number 11 !! EVERY primary school will now have a library of their own thanks to the Chancellor @RachelReevesMP @Literacy_Trust have been campaigning tirelessly for this boost to reading and I’m so happy (as you can see!)

Amazing evening at number 11 @Literacy_Trust have done wonders with the #librariesforprimaries campaign and now ALL primaries will have a library with the Chancellor’s backing! Such an incredible moment! So proud to have been a small part of this work!
