So many people look at those of us who’ve crashed and burned—who’ve failed publicly, lost everything, and been brought painfully low—and say, “We don’t want to end up like them.” But my friend Byron said something to me months ago, after his own public collapse, that has haunted…
This is so 😊
One thing Gaza has proven to me about the Law of War is how it is premised on military leaders who don't want their people slaughtered and who will just give up if they can't win. E.g., imagine what would have happened if the "Japan will never surrender" claims were true.
listen guys, genocide is a longtime special interest of mine (i’m extremely against it ftr). i know more than any human should know about the holocaust and the cambodian genocide. we need a word for this distinct behavioral phenomenon, and if you start calling every war a…
"depriving Palestinians military deterrence" is nuts. It isn't Iron Dome that does that. It's that Israel has a military that can crush the Palestinians! Mexico doesn't have any military deterrence against the US either. Mexico solves this problem by not attacking us!
“The Iron Dome cannot meaningfully be considered ‘life-saving’ in any value system that recognizes Palestinian life alongside Israeli life.” -@shaabiranks
not to repeat what others have pointed out ad nauseam, but it makes zero sense to claim that it is more racist to believe that COVID came from dangerous research at a Chinese military lab than that COVID came from someone selling raccoon dogs or eating bat soup at a wet market
🚨NEW: CNN Correspondent Donie O'Sullivan: "So many of the people who were most vocally pushing the lab leak theory are racist!" @DailyCaller
“Forget about how this impacts people like the CEO and his mistress, garden-variety sinners who, through a combination of terrible luck and atrocious judgment, will be famous, and hated, for the rest of their lives. You don’t have to feel sorry for them (although I admit, I kind…
I used to be against charging for healthcare (since being ill isn't a choice). But Australia's healthcare system is the only one I've ever encountered that works well and I am therefore strongly against changing it in any way. 🇦🇺 "I need stitches." We can do that right away.
Aussies is this right? I had a 7 min consult with a GP in Coolangatta and paid $82.11 and received $43.90 from Medicare. That’s a net cost of $38.21. I’m not whinging because I can afford it but those less fortunate must struggle. So much for only needing your Medicare card.
this is too on point

CNN: "Do you like capitalism?" Mamdani: "No, I have many critiques of capitalism." This is nearly a dealbreaker. It's saying, "I don't want people to own stuff and sell it as they wish, and I don't understand what makes modern societies richer." And don't "Sweden" me. Sweden is…
I get where some people will get... uncomfortable... with this particular message from this particular messenger, I have to say I think he gets to the heart of some of what I struggled with concerning MacArthur. JMac's theology always seemed to lead into a legalistic place.
In my early twenties, as a brand-new Christian, I devoured John MacArthur’s sermons. His seriousness about the Bible, no-nonsense clarity, and unwavering tone were exactly what I thought I needed. I listened constantly, read obsessively, and shaped my young faith around what he…
One of my best tweets; it brought out the race loons! I'm not playing your racial game theory garbage, and neither are most Americans. Most oppose racial preferences in college admissions, for example. Find a different country for your race war. Real Americans don't want it.
This is the “cooperate” stance in racial game theory: “I’ll be colorblind if you’re colorblind.” But the other races are not cooperating. They consistently demand privileges, spoils, and vengeance. There is no way to resist this except through white solidarity.
CNN speaks with father of American citizen killed by settlers in West Bank. Even by Trump standards absolute wild that State didn't respond to CNN instantaneously with "Of course we will investigate this" cnn.com/2025/07/14/wor…
I am not "white people." I feel absolutely zero loyalty towards those who share my skin tone, and I feel no responsibility for what horrors those with my skin tone have committed, now or in the past. Neither "white solidarity" nor "white guilt" are part of my worldview.
Reminder, Israel is conducting a brutal war in Gaza, not a genocide.
There was an intermediate stage too, during which the argument was "yes, our guys raped women—but why not? Israelis rape women too. Nothing wrong with a bit of rape, right? Everyone does it." All of this has always been utterly morally bankrupt.
Right after 7 October, many people acknowledged there had been mass rapes on that day and celebrated that in the most revolting manner. Then they discovered that rapists aren't popular and quickly changed their tune to denying it happened. It's always been clear that it did.
