May be good to bookmark this thread below as I try to track Q2 fundraising hauls for House candidate. Send your totals -- [email protected]
#IA03: Sarah Trone Garriott (D) announces raising $520k in Q2 as she challenges Rep. Zach Nunn
#CA09: former Stockton Mayor Kevin Lincoln (R) returns for a rematch against Rep. Josh Harder (D). Harder won by ~4 points in 2024 in what is now a Trump-won district. GOP sources have told me they are bullish on this district in ‘26

NEW: Gov. Greg Abbott told members of Congress he was skeptical about calling a special session to redraw Texas’ congressional maps. Most Texas Republicans were not a fan, either. Then Trump called. How the redistricting effort came to be: @TexasTribune texastribune.org/2025/07/22/tex…
#MN02: State Sen. Eric Pratt (R) launches campaign for open seat

Digging through some more numbers, one that stands out: Northampton County Executive Lamont McClure raised $87,000 and has less than $100k on hand in #PA07 Just won’t cut it in a toss-up seat, and surprising considering he holds elected office
New: House Republicans continued their strong fundraising pace, as they did at this point in 2023. Read some takeaways, and find your favorite candidate's Q2 haul with @njhotline's searchable chart Free! nationaljournal.com/s/729057/ihotl…
#PA10: Janelle Stelson (D) raises $500k in her first ~48~ hours since launching her rematch campaign against Rep. Scott Perry

Federal court yesterday struck down Maine super PAC measure. Almost certainly to be appealed Organizers have hoped case would end up in First Circuit, where it's likely destined. If appeals court overrules district court, probably goes to SCOTUS ifs.org/wp-content/upl…
New from me and @KatieBeth22, with her first byline at @njhotline! A federal court case heard last month in Maine could have huge implications for campaign finance reform. Does it have a chance? Free to read: nationaljournal.com/s/728664/could…

Army veteran, nursing school dean Kathy Dolter running for Congress against Ashley Hinson desmoinesregister.com/story/news/pol…
By my count, in toss up and lean races, three challengers outraised the incumbents, in #NV03 Lee (D), #NC01 Davis (D), and #AZ01 Schwiekert (R). All three were powered by substantial self-contributions or loans, though
Frontline Dems raised an average of $661,000 with average COH of about $1 million NRCC Patriots raised average of ~$1.1 million with average $1.9 million on hand See below for individual breakdowns

To this point, the largest 24h hauls I remember off the top of my head, according to my flawed memory, for House candidates are Adam Frisch in 2023 and Christina Bohannan last month Both raised $500k
Sheesh, that’s by FAR the largest Day 1 haul I’ve ever seen. $750K is more than what most incumbents raise in an entire QUARTER. That rolodex from being Doug Emhoff’s & MGP’s Chief of Staff REALLY freaking paying off.

Titus raised $183,000 during Q2 2023. Had $367k on hand
NRCC-targeted #NV01 Democrat Dina Titus raised an unimpressive $220,000 in Q2, enters July with $483.9K on hand
Not a lot of dough for a potential challenger to top GOP target Rep. Adam Gray:
NEW FEC F3 LOPEZ, JAVIER B (REP) #CA13 RCPT $71,370 EXPN $31,102 COH $40,268 docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/forms/…
Godspeed to all the folks crunching FEC data. Editors, you should hire me because I’m pretty good at it
a runner is considering "running" I've seen it all now
NEWS | Matt Cavanaugh, a retired Army lieutenant colonel, ultramarathoner, and former CEO of the National Kidney Donor Association, is considering a bid as an independent in Colorado’s 5th District (Crank, R). The Iraq War veteran and West Point grad was often stationed in CO-5.
That's not a lot of money raised by a candidate a lot of Dems have on retirement watch....
NEW FEC F3 DAVIS, DANNY K. MR. (DEM-Inc) #IL07 RCPT $46,457 EXPN $22,665 COH $114,932 docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/forms/…
