❗️NEW PREPRINT❗️ Brain size varies ~2-fold across adults, ~100 fold across primates, and nonlinearly changes across the lifespan. How is this reflected at the molecular level? biorxiv.org/content/10.110… Thread👇
⚡️New #preprint alert ⚡️ We show that #brain aberrations are highly heterogeneous after #preterm birth, and that there are consistent biological mechanisms and social environmental influences shaping these aberrations. 📰 Read the full preprint here: biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh…

It was such a special experience to see this groundbreaking paper in the making. The paper examines, among other things, ante-mortem functional connectivity and post-mortem omics ⭐️in the same people⭐️. Chockfull of wonders -- big congrats to @herkowitzlab and the whole team!
