The thing that comes to mind about lots of NFLPA advice to agents on matters impacting players can be summarized as ‘tripping over dollars to pick up pennies’. Yeah…that’s not good.
From the perspective of someone who worked for a club but cares deeply about players and their welfare- they need and deserve a better NFLPA. Generally speaking, agents protect them far more than the union- yet are treated like the enemy. Always seemed weird.
STRICTLY MY OPINION: If there are personal incentives in a GM/ college exec. contract based on signing players with **** or rankings from external recruiting services, it is a sign that you may not be looking at this the right way. (not saying the linked contract does)
Pretty easy to see a path to Vince Marrow earning close to $2M per year at Louisville.... footballscoop.com/2025/07/01/sou…

‘Kill, maim and destroy!’ -Bryan Braman A unique player and person who overcame incredible circumstances to make an impact in the NFL. Will never forget how thankful he was the morning after SB LII in 2017. @seanstellato phillymag.com/birds247/2014/…

I keep trying to figure out how to get my Twitter (X) back to English. It seems to be stuck on a Word Salad setting. Any idea how to fix this? Does tweet recommend making a 3rd/ 4th QB the face of a teams mktg efforts? That seems like an AWESOME idea.
While many folks are in Turks & Caicos, Dubai, Tahiti, San Trope to courtside at Madison Square Garden, Broadway & weekly appearances on Network Sports talk shows, love to see this philanthropic energy from @Jaboowins during his offseason time. I also think the #Giants should…
Headline- WATER IS WET AND FIRE IS HOT! Rookies are NOT ALLOWED to participate in training camp without a signed contract. It’s not the offseason program. So, yes, not a single player will report to training camp without a contract.
All but two of the NFL’s second-round draft picks remain unsigned after the first pair taken received fully guaranteed contracts. Former Ole Miss WR Tre Harris still hasn’t signed with the Chargers, and his camp tells FOS he won't report to camp unless he has a signed contract.
Love this…and strongly believe there is real edge in this approach. However, in order to execute- you need legit evaluators- and a repeatable sound process underlying it all. @JimNagy_Sooners
This is what championship culture looks like… #intangiblywealthy Yet others around the league are adding players to the bottom of the roster with histories of gun violence, drugs, robbery, and domestic violence.
It's for B‼️
If the NFL wanted to actually improve diversity AND QUALITY of hiring decisions (reduce owners’ dead $): - broader development/ training - formal assessments and reviews - anti-nepotism policy - change anti-tampering rules - legitimize ‘ready lists’ Would save tens of millions!
An NFL executive tells @GManzano24 that the league’s Accelerator program ‘has great merit” and is still a vital initiative when it comes to improving diversity hiring: si.com/nfl/coaches-ex…
Sorry to break the news, but 'agreeing on a number' means absolutely nothing. It's all about the structure behind the deal. As my @newheightshow listeners know, guarantees and cash flow are everything. You can easily solve for the APY.
Parsons confirmed to the DLLS Cowboys that he and Jones had a meeting of the minds on contract numbers that both were comfortable with. He told Jones what he wanted and Jones was amenable to it. He also told Jones to call his agent David Mulugheta to finalize the terms and the…
Each of these hires have extensive backgrounds in player evaluation, college, NFL or both. We have never seen a staff like this at OU and it makes it one of the more intriguing programs in college football right now. Going to be fascinating to watch this operation.
