A release of @GTKtoolkit 3 happened with fixes for issues we reported/contributed patch for: crashes on Wayland (in both @kdecommunity and @gnome) + an annoying bug in Right-to-Left languages. 🥳 Dear packagers: please use GTK 3.24.48 for our RC3 (stability++ / usability++)!

#GIMP 3.0.0 RC3 is now at 83% with only 10 issues to fix! You'll notice how we are now at 49 already closed reports now, while we were at 14 to close with 38 closed reports a few days ago! 😉 Things are getting exciting again!

After careful consideration, @ZeMarmot decided to publish a third release candidate for #GIMP 3.0.0, because some fixes made changed core logic. So we'll want a bit more testing. ~14 more reports to close (of course, this number fluctuates as we progress but rhythm is good!). 🧑‍💻

We finally released the macOS packages of GIMP 3.0.0 RC2 (both for Intel and Apple Silicon hardware): gimp.org/downloads/deve… 🥳 Big thanks to @lukasco who has been maintaining these packages for macOS all these years! 👍 And again a very happy new year to everyone! 🎆
