MLK was also mentioned by name in this memo from the FBI's anti-Black COINTELPRO, dated March 4, 1968 -- exactly one month before he was assassinated. FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, the author of this memo, was reputed for his use of disinformation & sexual blackmail.
MLK watched his friends rape women and laughed. We’ve known this for a while via a King historian who was allowed to access these files. Now we have the files. MLK was scum.
Scientists will do shit like "we invented the Save Billions of Lives Inator" and then decide not to save billions of lives because of ethics

Lots of commentary on this phenomenon and zero people checking whether and to what degree what they're saying is true with data.
There are so many people who just have absolutely no idea what they've done and what they've caused. I understand exactly how this happens. I know how they stay in La La land and how they deny what is happening in front of them and how they deny what is being told to them by…

I've known this since high school. I ran in jeans. In college, I slept in my clothes. My record lap time of 58 seconds was set in jeans. If your clothes aren't comfortable enough for all of these things, you need better clothes.
RFK Jr is single-handedly showing the nation that “activewear” is a myth. You can train, hike, run, cycle in normal clothing.
Challenge: explain why killing 1 random person is better than killing 2 without making reference to the quantities involved
there’s a philosophical mistake that ethics works like math it doesn’t lots of effective altruists / rationalists get this messed up
