Trying to humiliate Zelensky because the administration hasn't got what they want from him on either the resources or peace agreement and they want to blame him for their failure would be typical of Trump.
Good call. If Trump has finally understood that Zelensky can't just be coerced, the whole plan to end the war by forcing a US-Russia deal on Ukraine falls apart and Trump looks weak to both domestic and international audiences. This is how he typically deals with failure.
