Zonal Sports Champs Congratulations to Isha Vidhya Dharmapuri’s under-17 and 19 girls basketball teams and two Class 12 carrom contestants who emerged winners at the zonal tournaments with their skill, teamwork, and determination. They will now compete at the district level.

The Class 4 teacher at Isha Vidhya Dharmapuri placed objects at the start of a unique word hopscotch and had her students pick an object and hop through apt words to form a sentence apt to the object. Creating multiple sentences with limited words improved their language skills.

National Cadet Corps Training Fourteen Class 9 students from Isha Vidhya Tuticorin attended the NCC camp at Vivekananda College, Kanniyakumari. They underwent physical training, rifle practice, and learned about firefighting, POCSO Act, and the harmful effects of drugs/tobacco.

The abacus is introduced to Class 1 students to learn counting and basic math. The beads make abstract numbers more tangible, and their movement enhances understanding of place value. Progressing from counting to calculations with beads, math is fun and keeps the novices sharp.

POCSO Awareness Program Mrs. Santhakumari, IP, Kanyakumari dist., conducted an interactive and engaging session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Isha Vidhya Nagercoil, to educate students about personal safety and the importance of reporting abuse

International Day of Yoga Celebrations The day began with our students, teaching, and non-teaching staff participating in Upa-Yoga and meditation sessions. Students eagerly demonstrated Yoga, painted silhouettes of Yogic postures, and orated about the benefits of Yoga.

Mental Health Awareness Dr. Gayathri, a psychiatrist, conducted a counselling session on mental health for teachers and parents at Isha Vidhya Salem. She engaged the participants in self-analytical activities and shared valuable tips with parents on how to support their children.
