202X: anyone can create any product with AI. So you better make sure your comms & marketing strategy is as controversial as possible...
2\ We took a step back and realized we needed better distribution. So we started from scratch and thought about what would go viral. distribution -> product instead of product -> distribution. This is also, in my opinion, what the future of companies looks like.
If I wasn't about to start building another tech company and wanted to start a service business, I’d launch a @lovable_dev agency. Already millions of users, and only 8 partners listed on their partner page. As a comparison, Shopify web dev agency market size is 500M+.
Checking out London’s first coworking space dedicated to bootstrapped founders @RamenClubHQ ⭐️ Saw “classic” solopreneur projects (like plugins) to a fintech working with banks. AI-powered teams are changing the game: small teams can now build big products.

Yes, there are many other ways to do this, but one thing I like about @diabrowser is how easy it is to quickly open Slack/Discord/WhatsApp in browser and ask questions about or summarize the conversation, including considering context from other tabs

Some of the biggest current hurdles that came up during an event on adopting AI in fintech: liability, lack of insurance (+ lack of tools for insurers to rate risk), monitoring tools. Lots to be built.
It was faster for me to vibe code my own app vs browsing through dozens of existing ones 🤯 (I needed something very simple, but specific, around translation & explaining elements of each translation. I'm sure it exists, but couldn't find it right away).
“The smallest bank in the world can issue a Visa card because they don't have to build their own acceptance network" CEO @ @ubyx_, who are building a stablecoin clearing house and just announced their funding round. Important infra to get to wider adoption.
I’ve come to the conclusion that one of my favorite hobbies is simply meeting random, interesting people. Is this a legit hobby?
Thousands of builders trying to come up with all kinds of ways to get to “mass adoption”. But it might end up being Trump’s remittance tax (with crypto / stablecoins potentially falling outside of it) that moves the needle. That was not on my bingo card…
Back in London for a bit. Come join me next week if you're in web3 - lu.ma/lbg5kw8b
I need a review site where you can only list your top X places in each city. And then see the top picked ones So I can actually get some recommendations vs seeing thousands of 4.5*+ restaurants 🤯 (in Maps defense, BKK does have a lot of amazing 4.5* worthy restaurants. But…
Interesting section in last @theallinpod on thorium reactors. Even more so in light of recent power outages & renewables. youtu.be/4tcd1EgQrhU?t=…
✨ After 19 months of searching and hundreds of conversations… It is my great pleasure to announce that we have closed our 6th acquisition, Mava 🎉 Welcome to Noosa Labs!
Discord just announced their new Social SDK, enabling game developers to seamlessly add social features to their app with minimal development time. "Instead of having to rebuild text chat, voice chat, friends list, and that stuff that every game needs, [developers] can use our…
TIL: HR / payroll SaaS is just as unhinged as crypto. Zenefits (licensing violations, sex in stairwells), Warp (ultra racist affiliates), and now Deel.
It's really fascinating how global wellness trends work. Suddenly literally every person I speak with here is into sauna. I'm in South East Asia and it's 37C outside.
Was the old internet actually more fun, or is it purely psychological? Paradox of choice, effort justification etc.

AI making it possible for anyone to make an app proves one thing: the vast majority of people do not want to make apps
But, if they built robots to replace the entire sweatshop workforce, no one would bat an eye. In fact, people would probably praise the out of touch tech guru claiming it frees people up for more ‘meaningful’ pursuits. Human psychology is fascinating.
