planning for burial. business only to appease the algorithm.
find me over at the other place Planningforburial.bksy Maybe I’ll pop in here to do announcements, maybe not.
Only been home for about 30 hours, 20 of which I spent sleeping and my dumbass has already mapped a theoretical 3 week tour of places I missed on the east coast and most of center of the country.
Dipping into Florida for a few days. Tampa tonight at Crowbar, tomorrow in Orlando at Conduit.

Drove over night to ATL so we could spend the day sleeping/lounging around and hanging with our friends dogs. The last hour was hard but I put on Linkin Park’s Hybrid theory and kept putting the “mic” in Karla’s face like I was a hardcore singer for her to do Chester’s big hooks

Karla drove the last hour this morning. I actually began crying when she pulled in the driveway because I pulled this whole thing off safe and event free.
Listening to my personal Mount Rushmore of nü metal albums as I speed through the night home to see my cats.
Richmond VA tonight at Afterglow for one last show of this leg. Cash at the door no advanced tickets. Apologies if I cut a conversation short tonight I’m really looking forward to getting on 81 north asap to go see my cats.

I wrote a big blog thing about teaching myself new habits and breaking out of old ones. I reviewed a few great new albums (The Mars Volta, The Callous Daoboys, Controlled Death, and Planning for Burial). traumaangel.substack.com/p/changing-mys…
Witnessed the kid from elementary school who used to piss at the urinal with pants and underwear down around their ankle now grown up as 45-50 year old dude. Was greeted by a hank hill ass upon leaving a stall at this rest area.
I always feel a bit sad when visiting Orlando mostly out of nostalgia, last night I got to play in walking distance of my old apartment & thinking of my old roommate who is no longer with us weighed on me a lot.
After 35 days I finally relinquished control for two hours and let Karla drive this morning. 3 more shows left. Tonight in Chattanooga at The Boneyard. I’ll be joined by Nightosphere for the last 3 shows.

Does any company make "dumb" refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, etc.? I'm tired of these smart products breaking down every three years. My grandparents had the same fridge for 50 years. It can be done.
It brings me joy seeing Karla getting to spend time with her mom while in Florida , meanwhile the one time on this tour I went and got a really nice meal my acid reflux decided to flare up and I was up all night so I’m barely alive right now
Found a little time for some rock tourism in Nashville yesterday now I’m heading down to Birmingham to play at Saturn. Sadly Malevich will not me joining me the next couple nights

Now that Karla is with me I’m going to have to remember to eat more than once a day which means I’m gonna gain back the 25lbs I’ve lost since the beginning of tour.
Just did my last solo drive of the tour. I’m now sitting at the Louisville airport waiting for Karla’s flight to land
Today I’m listening to some chemical brothers and crystal method for my drive. I also have the 1998 x-files soundtrack and the spawn soundtrack on the que. If you were wondering my vibe.
Noticed in the last few years my most revisited Pumpkin’s record is Machina/The Machines Of God
