Founder, CEO @anatarhq | Reindustrializing the U.S. apparel manufacturing base with software-driven factories
The U.S. ceded 97% of apparel production overseas. Anatar is the only company building end-to-end apparel manufacturing infrastructure in the U.S., Software-defined, robotics-enabled, and vertically integrated. We are the supply chain. Impossible to ignore.
We’re scoping monthly orders in the thousands of units, while lining up equipment, logistics, and hiring. Lots of movement this week.
Physical retail is evolving as consumers seek new offline experiences. Anatar supports rapid scaling by collapsing production cycles from months to weeks, enabling true demand-driven manufacturing. @anatarhq
Who is trying to invest in physical factories powered by new age robotics and software (that would like some deal flow)? These keep coming across my desk and I think they are great opps for the right investor.
There is a massive and growing segment of: > Brands who want American supply chains > Brands who want faster turnarounds > Brands who want ethical labor and traceability The cheapest option becomes the most expensive when your supply chain collapses.
Cotton grown, ginned, spun, knit, dyed, cut, and sewn here in Georgia. This is American manufacturing. @AnatarHQ

Thank you, Mr. Secretary. I’d welcome the opportunity to meet with you in Washington to share how Anatar is driving the reindustrialization of U.S. textile manufacturing. We are building software-driven factories powered by advanced robotics and AI to restore domestic…
The textile industry has long been an important facet of our economy. Today, I had a productive discussion with @NCTO, the voice of the U.S. textile industry. We discussed @POTUS’s vision for strategic manufacturing and this administration's ongoing efforts to bolster growth…
There’s a new noblesse oblige in the air. At the Reindustrialize Summit, no one talked about cutting costs or making profits. National sovereignty and a thriving middle class have replaced shareholder value as the ultimate goal. Patriotism has replaced profit. The vibe shift has…
Absolutely. We’re actively serving customers and onboarding new partners daily. American manufacturing is back.
Are you looking for brand partners? I DM’d you about a project I’m working. The owners shared interest in onshoring their production if it makes sense.
A strong America stands united in purpose, resilient in the face of challenges, and generous in spirit. Good for its citizens and its allies, a strong America lifts the world.
Introducing: Made in America A Sourcery Mini-Series born at @reindsummit Detroit featuring 20+ of the most important leaders in American progress
Anatar doesn’t sell DTC. We’ve demonstrated day-one cost parity with Vietnam.
Manufacturing clothing here is not hard, but it is expensive. Pricing your goods appropriately Joe Public from "buy American" to "thats too expensive" real quick when they would see my price tag.
Securing just 1% of apparel manufactured for the U.S. market? That’s $818 million a year in revenue. The opportunity is huge.
Nearly every piece of clothing sold in the U.S. is imported. 97% percent comes from abroad, most of it from Asia. Our heavy reliance on imports creates risk and instability when global supply chains fail. It’s time to rethink how and where our clothes are made. @anatarhq

The capacity gap is real. Billion-dollar brands want to reshore production but have nowhere to go. We're building that somewhere: software-driven factories that fuse advanced robotics with AI to make U.S. apparel manufacturing competitive again. @anatarhq
Modern apparel manufacturing.
Modern apparel manufacturing.
Zipper die casting. When we said deep vertical integration, we meant it. We’ll produce many of our trims and fasteners in-house. @AnatarHQ
Spent the day marinating in ammonia fumes and 500° heat at one of our partner’s facilities. Not glamorous, but this is how things are made.
We’ve identified a 30-year industry veteran (ex Hanes) to help lead production at Anatar. We’re adding depth.
I do not know @imkaiarhodes but huge respect. So many really exceptional people are not a fit in school. I hope you win big!
I don't talk about this much, but it hit me while applying to YC: I dropped out of high school with a 0.925 GPA, dropped out of college, and have only ever worked for myself. Now I'm rebuilding an industry. At 37, I'm just getting started.
