the psyops for the past few years here has been that “ETH is just like every other L1 token and blockchain out there, and has no properties which make it ‘special’” this is wildly wrong and it will be borne out now in real adoption by institutions (and eventually, market price)

look, i've been in crypto since 2013 but if we can't move the needle away from zero sum extractive scams (now promoting messages of hate and self-harm) into gainful use via DeFi, identity solutions, meaningful culture, etc. then i'll probably leave crypto within a few years
