Kashmir Śaivism: Beginner’s Roadmap:- Want to explore Kashmir Śaivism? Start with The Secret Supreme by Swami Lakshmanjoo. It distills core insights from the Tantrāloka, the central scripture of this tradition.

After 1,000 years of foreign rule, many Hindus obsess over surface morality food, dress, language yet neglect future resilience. Acharya Abhinavagupta warns against self-pity and weakness. True strength lies in inner mastery, not clinging to victimhood or hollow identity.
This is the kind of abuse we Kashmiri Pandits face simply because we eat meat and offer it to our principal deity, Vatuk Bhairav.
KS does not use "Aham Brahmasmi" that is Vedantic, from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad. Kashmir Shaivism speaks of Aham as the vibrating heart of consciousness (Spanda), not as the dissolution into Brahman. It centres on Pratyabhijñā self-recognition, not merger.
This is what the Shiv Sutras, Spanda Karikas tell. Kashmir Shaivism tells in detail about this. This is such a profound philosophy which touches the base of Quantum Theory and String Theory . The concept of Aham Brahmasmi or I am that ( So aham) is that observer effect.
2. Map The Universe vs. Empty Your Mind Modern day: "Empty your mind of thoughts." vs Abhinavagupta: "Here are 36 precise levels from pure consciousness to matter." They wanted you to understand reality's architecture, not just get calm.
— Abhinavagupta (the deepest) — Joyce — Faulkner — Wallace — Tagore — Vasubandhu (Abhidharmakosabhasya) — Shankara — Derrida — Nagarjuna — Proust — S Weil — Wittgenstein — Goethe — Shri Aurobindo — William James — Baudelaire — Kierkegaard — Dante
A few authors (and texts) who are endlessly deep and will always make you deeper upon re-reading them: — Homer — Xenophon (Memorabilia) — Plato (Gorgias, Republic, Laws) — Aristotle (Nicomachean Ethics) — Machiavelli — Shakespeare — Milton — Descartes — Nietzsche — Yeats
I wish Hindus would start questioning their gurus beyond their comfort zones, and gurus should be open to being questioned outside theirs. Blindly following without scrutiny isn't enlightenmen it's dogma in disguise.
Yk, what's funny? People judge when u r just pointing out nature's randomness and the imperfection of consciousness(by showing them they lack the same). There's a stark contrast btw online personas and reallyf emotions, revealing hypocrisy.. AG said correctly, thy won't undrstnd
Most h-men prefer podcasts/yt video's in 2x speed, over books because they feel effortless, passive input, no discipline required. But books demand attention, reflection, and silence, things modern minds flee. Yet true growth lies in what resists you, not what entertains you.
H men need to minimize their screen-time, and start reading. Read every day. It is key to man’s development. Forego the podcasts or any of that modern bullshit. Read a book
