Anchor.fm/ifwtpod New ep! @R_ViewMovies (Becca) from @ExpectUsToTalk podcast is here to help us dissect Michael Powell's career shattering proto(?) slasher PEEPING TOM (1960). How does it standup against Hitchcock's Psycho - a film that shares many thematic similarities?

Just finished recording with the delightful and informative @R_ViewMovies (Becca) of the @ExpectUsToTalk podcast, discussing Michael Powell's derided and salacious 1960 slasher(?) PEEPING TOM. Episode dropping this Thurs!

NEW EPISODE IS OUT NOW! I had a great conversation at the end of last year with Cesare on his podcast @RadRevivalHouse so I asked him if I could share our great conversation, and he said yes. So the episode is a little bit me and then a lot of us. Watch the Tall T and then listen
It's never too late to dream. One day I shall own The Mystery Machine!✌️

What was your favorite comedy film from the 1980s? 🤣 My pick: Back to School (1986)
Brian Jones, Nico, Dennis Hopper and Judy Collins at Monterey Pop Festival, kicking off the 'summer of love' of '67. The event was organised by John Phillips, Lou Adler and Derek Taylor - the famous publicist who created the 'Brian Wilson is a Genius' marketing campaign.

#NW Angels Hard As They Come (dir. Joe Viola, 1971) While this film may not rank in the higher echelons of biker flicks, it co-stars a young Gary Busey and was produced and co-written by none other than Jonathan Demme! Also...that's some poster!

#humpdayhorror With sickeningly real practical effects, a permanently bleak atmosphere and one of the most disturbing real life stories serving as the narrative, Men (or Man) Behind The Sun was the first film to receive a level III rating in Hong Kong, equivalent to an NC-17.

In 1980, former Monkee Michael Nesmith would create and develop Popclips for Nickelodeon - a show which exclusively showed music videos, a full year before MTV was created. MTV approached Nesmith to help them develop their network, tho Nesmith declined the offer.

Being in the crowd at Donnington 2005, watching original line-up Black Sabbath, is still the greatest live experience I've had to this day. It wasn't merely a concert - it was an affirmation on the power of music, for this (then) 16 year old long hair. RIP Ozzy🤘

A true icon and pioneer. RIP to The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne.

#TrashploitationTuesday Wet Hot American Summer (2001) David Wain & Showalter's WHAS may now be a cult favourite, but it tanked at the BO and was critically mauled. But this absurdist gag-a-thon, filled with stars in the making, would launch a franchise. Who's laughing now?

#nowwatching The Hospital (dir. Arthur Hiller, 1971) Chayefsky, Hiller, George C. Scott and Diana Rigg. Now that's pedigree.

#nowwatching Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl (2024) Time to give the latest film of this British institution a first time watch. Wayne caught it on release and really liked it. #Netflix

(Wayne) A year or so ago I posted the image on the left, when I completed was my first ever screenplay. Well I just read over it recently and the image on the right shows all the pages of edits I need to make on the second draft. This might take a while. #writerslife #screenplay

New episode Friday encourages you NOT to fuck w/ the mack daddy of Death & maybe avoid air travel for the foreseeable future. Listen in as Jordy Williams & I see you safely thru this episode to your Final Destination! open.spotify.com/episode/3o2Tl1…
#nowwatching Amy Bradley Is Missing (2025) Not heard of this case before. But I do love me a good true-crime docuseries. #Netflix

Don't sleep on Mix Tape (2025) starring Teresa Palmer and Jim Sturgess. Sure it steps into saccharine territory, but it's a genuinely touching & heartfelt 4 ep miniseries that delves into first love, regret and the passage of time - all set to a great soundtrack. #bbc
