just here for the memes and good vibes.
Shreya is flawless. She acts with her voice, it fits the mood and elevates to another level. She changes her voice to fit actors and mood of the song, she is a living legend. Frankly even between Lata and Asha, Asha was/is more versatile.
Shreya Ghoshal surpassed Lata Mangeshkar long ago. No shade, just facts. She’s on a whole different level now.
thought about this through the day. Genres, language, composers worked with, yes. We are just not ready to have that conversation.
Your tweets eat every single time idk how you do it. like i see your @ and i know i’m about to agree violently 😭🫡
accepting the truth takes nothing away from lata mangeshkar ji. she was, is, and will always remain a school & an inspiration for every vocalist who came after her or ever will. she inspired shreya to become who she is today, & we all deeply love our musical great-grandmother. ♥️

Shreya Ghoshal sings better than a native speakers of South Indian languages. The way she enunciates and pronounces words is just unbelievable.
Lara Mangeshkar’s voice had cracked a few decades before she should have retired. By the time I crossed my teenage, she should have retired. It was embarrassing to hear her.
agree - Lata M is overrated. She survived by playing politics and prevented competition.
You are right. Lata Mangeshkar was too shrill on high pitches in many songs. Shreya Ghoshal's Mere Dholna Sun'(original) could not have been sung by Lata Ji.
