Shreya is flawless. She acts with her voice, it fits the mood and elevates to another level. She changes her voice to fit actors and mood of the song, she is a living legend. Frankly even between Lata and Asha, Asha was/is more versatile.

You are right. Lata Mangeshkar was too shrill on high pitches in many songs. Shreya Ghoshal's Mere Dholna Sun'(original) could not have been sung by Lata Ji.
