I went through over 9000 document pages of various protocols so that you don't have to
initially parachain but soon understood this and became Ethereum L2
pretty sure CR should derive from L1 ultimately, but thats the ideal so if you want to dec sequencers with a L1-like validator set then thats cool but prly for now forced transactions with L1 CR will be more solid also: why not both? forced txs from l1 + dec operator set
Is a rollup only stage 2 if it inherits its censorship resistance from Ethereum? Can a stage 2 rollup inherit censorship resistance from a decentralised & permissionless L2 staking set that requires a broken honesty assumption to censor? @l2beat @antoonip @VitalikButerin

Well, we already have a couple projects leaving the @Polkadot ecosystem in favor of becoming @Ethereum L2s (study @MantaNetwork) and not a single one going the other way around - so actually, I think the problem is on your side guys 🤷
An L2 that changes from optimistic to ZK is like a guy that got lost on the high sea for 7 days tying a stone to his foot to end the misery faster. A curse that Ethereum has run into is illusion that an L2 has to choose between 2 evils: - wait 7 days for finalization…
