New study has highlighted the need for tighter regulations on sunbeds in Ireland. The research, published by @publichealthie & @hseNCCP found that some tanning salons are ‘heavily’ promoting tanning products such as accelerators to incentivise sunbed use shorturl.at/kWGIZ

The NCCP Early Diagnosis of Cancer e-learning programme on hseland.ie advises healthcare staff on how to recognise signs and symptoms of cancer and how to refer patients, when necessary, to the appropriate next step. Accredited by the ICGP for 1 external CME point.

The HSE NCCP 'Reducing Cancer Risk' e-learning programme hseland.ie consists of 11 short course modules on modifiable cancer risk factors. Modules take 10-15mins to complete. The programme is accredited by the ICGP for 2 external CME points and 0.5 days GMS leave.
